Biography:

Carnage is a supervillain appearing in Marvel Comics, primarily as an enemy of Spider-Man and Venom. His first appearance was in *The Amazing Spider-Man* #361 (1992).

Carnage is the symbiote offspring of Venom. When Venom's host, Eddie Brock, was imprisoned, the Venom symbiote briefly bonded with him before leaving to find Peter Parker (Spider-Man). A portion of the symbiote was left behind in the prison, bonding with Brock's cellmate, the serial killer Cletus Kasady.

The Carnage symbiote is far more violent and unstable than Venom. It amplifies Kasady's sadistic tendencies, making him an extremely dangerous and unpredictable foe. Carnage's powers mirror those of Spider-Man and Venom, including enhanced strength, speed, and agility. However, Carnage can also form its symbiote into bladed weapons and project tendrils.
